Terrorists, Security Forces exchange fire in J&K’s Rajouri; Area cordon and Search on

An exchange of fire broke out between terrorists and J&K Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) team in the Beeranthub area under Police Station Kandi in Rajouri district of Jammu & Kashmir on late Tuesday night.

 

According to IGP Jammu, B S Tuti, “Exchange of fire took place between terrorists and SOG team in Beeranthub area, PS Kandi, Rajouri. Joint parties of Police, Army and CRPF have rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.”

 

Security forces have launched a joint search operation in the area to track down the terrorists. The situation is being closely monitored.
