Shehbaz sharif Big Statement on operation sindoor

In a big U-turn from his earlier statements, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has now openly admitted that Indian missile strikes on May 9 destroyed important Pakistani military bases, including the Noor Khan Airbase near Rawalpindi, even before Pakistan could respond.

Speaking in Muzaffarabad, in Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK), Sharif revealed that the Indian attack came hours before the Pakistani army had planned to launch a retaliation. He said Pakistan’s military response was scheduled for 4:30 am, but India struck first around 2:30 am, hitting multiple strategic locations.

Sharif mentioned that Army Chief General Asim Munir personally informed him at 2:30 am about India’s successful strikes. Key installations including Murid Airbase in Chakwal and Noor Khan Airbase, a critical air operations hub, were hit by India’s BrahMos missiles, causing major damage.

Just a few days ago, the Pakistani government had dismissed reports of damages from Operation Sindoor, calling it false. But now, the same leaders are admitting that India’s attack caused serious damage to their military bases.
