Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar says 10 members of his family and four close associates killed in Indian missile attack in Bahawalpur, Pakistan.
Those killed in Indian missile strikes included JeM chief’s elder sister and her husband, a nephew and his wife, news agency PTI reported.
On Tuesday night, the Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor, targeting nine major terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK). This powerful action was taken just days after a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, where 26 innocent people were killed.
The Indian military targeted key terror hubs, including Markaz Taiba in Muridke (a Lashkar-e-Taiba stronghold) and Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur — the Jaish-e-Mohammad headquarters. The Bahawalpur site, once a critical base for terror operations, was completely reduced to rubble.
