KPK CM Accuses Pakistan Army of Harbouring Taliban Terrorists

In a bold statement, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has openly accused Pakistan’s army of protecting and planting Taliban terrorists in the province.

Addressing a press conference in Peshawar on Thursday, Gandapur said that his police team had arrested terrorists after risking their lives, but later those very terrorists were let go because of pressure from intelligence agencies.

“ISI and MI regularly intervene and request the release of the good Taliban, declaring them ‘our people’,” he said.

“I’m not scared of anyone and I’ll repeat it, when those individuals were caught again, our ISI and MI got involved, identified them as their own, and said, ‘Let them go - we need them for our missions.’ As a result, they were released from police custody,” he stated.

Gandapur rejected the policy of using Taliban terrorists for state operations. “Fight your wars with your own military, forget about the so-called good Taliban,” he said. “If they’re really needed, then recruit them into the Army, put them in uniform, and send them to Kashmir or wherever else you want but don’t force them upon the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This whole concept of ‘Good Taliban’ is unacceptable. Let your soldiers in uniform fight your battles. We will not allow such elements to roam freely in our cities.”

Gandapur’s explosive remarks have completely exposed the deep ties between Pakistan’s army and terror groups.
