Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra concludes: 4.14 lakh devotees paid obeisance, LG Sinha felicitates stakeholders

The annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra concluded with over 4.14 lakh devotees from across India and abroad paying obeisance to Baba Barfani in the south Kashmir Himalayas. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha felicitated the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, BRO, NGOs, service providers, medical teams, Army, CAPFs, and J&K Police for ensuring the smooth and safe conduct of the pilgrimage.

More than 4.14 lakh devotees from across the country & the globe paid obeisance to Baba Barfani. Their enthusiasm & devotion & successful holy pilgrimage was a befitting reply to the enemy's design of destabilising peace in J&K UT”, Office of LG J&K said in a post on X.
 
 
This year’s 38 day long Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra commenced on 3rd July, simultaneously from both the routes – the Pahalgam track in Anantnag district and Baltal in Ganderbal district and culminated on 9th August, 2025 on Raksha Bandhan.
