Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated at homes or by setting up pandals (temporary tents), where idols are worshipped with prayers and offerings for several days. While some devotees observe the festival for 3 or 5 days, others continue the celebrations for up to 10 days. The celebrations end with the immersion of the idols in rivers, lakes, or seas.
